Caravan Parks / RV Holiday Parks and Tourist
Villages
There are a number of options available for the RV
traveller for places to stay or camp whether it be a weekend getaway
or for those RV
travellers
on the road long term. The fees
levied by caravan holiday parks or tourist villages can vary
depending on the facilities provided and the duration of
your stay.
Some RV
travellers
prefer to pay for one night at a caravan holiday park or rv
tourist village and see how it goes before committing
themselves to an extended stay of say a week or more. By
doing this it can provide an option for them to leave if
they find the caravan park or its facilities unsuitable.
Caravan Holiday Parks/Tourist Villages Chains
There are a number of caravan holiday park or rv tourist
village chains that operate in each state. For larger rigs
it is best to check beforehand with the van park to make
sure they can accommodate the length of your RV.
Some parks provide gift vouchers and club membership. For
club membership each chain of caravan parks/tourist villages
have their ‘conditions of use’ so make enquires to ensure
the one you join will suit your needs. Their websites show
the range of accommodation available such as cabins, powered
